In developing these tours, Kiribati Holidays aims to be as
sustainable as possible in the following ways:
- include a contribution / donation to the local area where the tour takes place so the entire village, not just specific people benefit from visitor income
- respect for cultural traditions, including shrine donations and using only the 'permitted' villagers to relate traditional stories
- maximum of 4 people per tour, rather than large groups, so the impact and intrusion on the villages is minimal. This also enhances the visitor experience. It is usual that you have your own, totally personalised tour.
All tours include all transport / transfer and refreshments where applicable. Due to the nature of these tours, content may vary.
